MATERIAL HANDLING

Steel and Aluminum Roller Conveyors Roller conveyors move loads along a downward slope, using gravity to reduce effort required in package handling, warehousing, dock, assembly, or inspection tasks. Rollers provide a stable surface for loads with rimmed or uneven bottoms. Loads can be pushed from side-to-side across the full width of the conveyors. Each section consists of rollers with axles attached to rigid frames. Roller conveyors typically offer greater weight capacity than skate wheel conveyors. Sections must be supported by compatible conveyor stands, sold separately. Conveyor section load capacity depends on the number and spacing of the support stands.

They have multiple straight rollers and are commonly used for feeding flat-bottomed sheets, planks, and bars into or out of machinery in machine shops, woodshops, and other fabrication facilities. They can be used with items that are wider than the roller width, and they are also suitable for conveying items that would fall into the spaces between ball transfers on a ball trans- fer stand. H-Style Conveyor Support Stands Stands support conveyor sections and can be adjusted to create a level or sloped conveying surface. Pivoting mounting brackets allow sloped installations. Choose an H-stand based on between- frame (BF) dimension and duty rating. 1,500-lb. load capacity.

Note: Range of adjusted height is to top of H-stand.

Note: For a stand-alone conveyor, a min. of two supports is required. For two sections of conveyor, a min. of three supports is required (the middle stand supports both sections).

Belt Lacing Conveyor belt lacing can be used to install a new conveyor belt or repair an existing belt on a powered belt conveyor. These mechanical fasteners join the ends of the belt to form a loop. They allow the belt to be installed on a conveyor without having to disassemble the conveyor system, which mini- mizes downtime for the conveyor.
